"The owners and staff are really friendly. We have been going for 3 yrs now and have watched the owners work hard to improve the campground. The pool is beautiful. The showers are clean. "We had so much fun here! We rented one of their “rustic” cabins for a long weekend and were thoroughly content! Though centrally located to a lot of the U.P. hot spots, it felt like truly getting away.  Our kids loved it so much they just wanted to be at the campground! The pool is toasty, the mini-golf course (in need of some TLC, though included in your stay) was a challenging , and had us laughing until we cried! The clubhouse has a pool table and foosball to enjoy, and though we didn’t try it out, there is even a horseshoe pit! The little kiddie corral playground was cute, and they even do weekend movies in the pavilion.

The rustic cabins themselves are worth their price. They have electricity, grills, little chairs and a picnic table and fire ring. The only semi-complaint we have are the beds (a double and a set of bunks) which are VERY FIRM, and not my preference. However, it IS camping, and we just adapted by adding layers.
